Project: Dancing INN

Dancing INN is a specialized SaaS platform for the complete management of dance competitions. The project brings together club and participant registration, category and fee management, judge coordination, real-time scoring, automatic calculation of results and rankings, and diploma generation within a single system.

The main challenge was to digitalize a process involving multiple interconnected elements and different types of users - organizers, dance clubs, competitors, and judges. Instead of managing information and individual activities through separate tools and manual processes, the goal was to bring everything together within one centralized platform.

What did we develop?

We developed a specialized SaaS system that allows an unlimited number of dance competitions to be created and managed.

The platform covers the entire process - from the initial registration of clubs and participants to the competition itself, judging, score processing, and the creation of final rankings.

The system can be accessed from a computer, tablet, or smartphone, allowing both registration and judging to be carried out directly from the most suitable device during the event.

Key functionalities

The platform includes:

• creation and management of an unlimited number of competitions;
• registration of dance clubs and individual participants;
• management of participants, groups, and dance performances;
• configuration of age groups, leagues, categories, and dance styles;
• automatic calculation of fees based on participation type, category, and other parameters;
• management and allocation of judges;
• real-time judging;
• automatic entry and processing of judges’ scores;
• automatic calculation of final scores, rankings, and positions;
• generation of competition logic based on category, style, age group, and other parameters;
• management of the competition schedule and performances;
• automatic generation of participant diplomas;
• individual or bulk printing of all diplomas;
• a public-facing section for competitions, news, events, and galleries;
• a multilingual public platform in Bulgarian and English.

Core platform logic

One of the most important aspects of the project is the automation of processes that would otherwise require significant manual work during a dance competition.

Once the participants and the rules for a specific competition have been entered, the system can automatically process fees, competition logic, judges’ scores, final results, and rankings.

This connects the different stages of the competition and allows information to move through the system without the need for repeated manual data entry.

How did we help the organizers?

Organizers can manage participants, categories, fees, schedules, and judges from one system, while the judging panel can enter scores directly during the competition.
